BOARD MEMBERS

Maggie Peterson

Maggie Peterson began her career as a professional truck driver in 1978 and has been driving for Roadway since 1984. She currently has a dedicated run between Bloomington, California and Las Vegas, Nevada.

At Roadway, Peterson is a Smith System trainer, hazardous materials trainer, and longer combination vehicles trainer (LCV) and is responsible for training and road testing new employees. She has also been an instructor for current Roadway employees working to obtain their commercial driver's licenses.

The American Trucking Associations selected Peterson as an America's Road Team Captain in 1998, and she has been selected several times as the Driver of the Month by the California Trucking Association.

Peterson has represented the trucking industry in various media, including a segment on women in trucking that aired on the Oxygen network. She was also featured in the book, Be Happy at Work, 100 Women Who Love Their Jobs and Why, by Joanne Gordon.

She currently lives in Oak Hills, California with her three dogs.
